Artisanal fermentation
"Fermentation is a tangible way to cultivate consciousness and relationships." S. Katz
The potential of fermentation
Semper Vivum Fermenti was born in 2021 with the aim and hope of bringing people closer to fermented, live and unpasteurised foods. With our project we aim to bring back the ancient tradition of natural conservation methods.
We live in an era where the products we consume are mostly derived from industries and devoid of life and flavor.
With commitment we want to produce healthy foods in a conscious way, to strengthen the economy of our region and support food biodiversity. Our aim is to raise awareness among people so that bacterial cultures return to being part of gastronomic culture.
We believe in the potential of fermentation to support and strengthen our vision for a more sustainable future for us and the environment.
Healthy and tasty
Fermentation is an ancient method of natural preservation. Thanks to the help of microorganisms, fungi and yeasts it is possible to release energy from organic molecules. In the first years of life on earth the main form of life was bacteria. Thanks to their metabolism, life on earth has continued to evolve.
These bacteria, which are fundamental for life, are necessary for the preservation of many foods. They are commonly known in the processing of dairy products, alcohol, bread and even chocolate!
